  East Alton Development Master Plan

East Alton, IL


St. Louis Design Alliance is working with RHCDA to design 46 affordable ranch-style homes in East Alton, Illinois. The project calls for the demolition of existing housing units built in the 1940s to accommodate ammunition workers at Olin Corp. After receiving approximately $1.3 million in tax credits from the Illinois Housing Development Authority, RHCDA is set to begin construction. .

   
       
  South County Baptist Church

Saint Louis South County, MO

Base on the Church's budget & future vision, Saint Louis Design Alliance Architects prepared a master plan and new image for South County Baptist Church. The plan included three phases. Phase 1: Dining room, children's education suite, and the  expansion of the existing foyer. Phase 2: Multipurpose room and youth area  next to the dining room. Phase 3: Expansion of the existing office suite and main entry, and a symbolic tower to make a presence on a busy road.

   
       
  Student Apartment Complex

Kirksville, MO

Saint Louis Design Alliance completed a master plan study for a student apartment complex in Kirksville MO. The site is located across the street from Truman State University, and is planning to host 120 units in two phases. The majority of the buildings are located along the two major streets flanking the site, giving a strong presence into the university campus. An open space is left at the intersection of the two major streets where the Club House is located. A plaza, landscaped areas, and a water feature play a key role in front of the Club House.
   
       
  The Village at Mackenzie

Saint Louis, MO

In a very reduced site with an existing building, Design Alliance Architects developed a master plan composed of 4 buildings in 2 phases, with a total of 121 units. Two buildings (north and south) were added to the existing building, a former elementary school (west). A phase 2 building was designed to be added on the north east site. An underground detention system was needed as the developer desired to maximize the property.
   
       
  Lutheran Senior Services: Concordia Village Assisted Living

Springfield, IL

On a site of over 36 acres, the Saint Louis Design Alliance architects developed an extensive master plan for the Lutheran Senior Services: Concordia Village Assisted Living facility in Springfield, IL. 8 buildings and 23 homes were added to the existing facility in two phases.
   
       
  Sinai Village

East Saint Louis, IL

In an effort to develop a deteriorated neighborhood which plays a significant part in restoring the livable, vibrant community that has been lost, Saint Louis Design Alliance was contacted to prepare a development master plan in the Winstanley Neighborhood of East St. Louis, IL.
   
       
  Cape First - Retreat Center

Cape Girardeau, MO

Saint Louis Design Alliance developed a master plan for Cape First Church's future worship building and retreat center. It includes a multipurpose room, a chapel facing the existing pond, conference rooms, a lodge building, an amphitheater, and sport fields.
   
       
  Living Word United Methodist Church

Ellisville, MO

A Methodist congregation increases their worship capacity from 350 to 700 in a move to a larger church building in Wildwood. Programming for a "Celebrate Space" or multi-purpose room, allows this congregation to use the space for worship or recreation. A performing arts and media center are included as well.
